Before inputting any information into a payment calculator you will need to know the selling price of the vehicle. If you're just trying to get a ballpark payment amount, then just input the MSRP (window sticker) dollar amount of the car you are considering purchasing. Once you've got all of this information properly entered, you will click submit or calculate to get your monthly payment. There are a lot of things athletes may run out of at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing but condoms will not be one of them.

Organizers have supplied 100,000 for the 10,500 athletes housed in the village. Organizers have handed out condoms at every Olympics since 1992 in Barcelona to raise awareness of AIDS prevention.

At Sydney, the 70,000 condoms supplied, ran out and officials ordered an additional 20,000 more.

"There are many young, strong, single people in the athletes' village and, like everywhere, some will fall in love or other things, so we need to make condoms available," Ole Hansen, spokesman for UNAIDS China, told Reuters. "A lot of these young people are not married or in relationships so we want to make sure they have the information and tools to protect themselves if they have sexual encounters."

So not to offend any athlete, the condoms are not put in rooms but are available at medical sights and at the athlete's center.

Elasun, a condom maker in China, has been running funny ads showing Olympic stickman performing alongside condoms shaped like bicycles, basketball hoop and net and an archery target.

I have to admit that I'm a HUGE fishing fanatic...there I said it. That's the first step toward recovery, right? It's not like I spend every waking hour of my free time fishing, but I will be honest, in saying that I do think about fishing, rods, reels, lures, bait in my sleep. She doesn't say it, but I know my wife thinks I'm a lunatic and she has told me that dreaming about catching fish is "not normal". I know I can't be the only one out there who feels this way about fishing. It's not just about the challenge of catching a stupid fish (or a smart one for that matter). It's the process, the environment, the camaraderie that goes along with everything involved in the sport. For me, going into a fishing store and buying anything fishing related is like going a 5 year old going to Toys R' Us. I don't think I'll ever be broken of my habit, and I'm positive that if I live to be 100, you'll find me living on or near a body of water where there's something swimming that I can try to catch. Unfortunately work gets in the way of my fishing obsession from time to time, but I've even found a way to get around that obstacle. I sit at a computer most of the day, so when things are slow, I'll play some free fishing games on my pc just to occupy myself. I've even purchased some fishing games for my Playstation which are very realistic. I guess you could call me an "online angler" Anyway, that's my fishing rant. I'm hoping to get out this weekend and do some bass fishing. A buddy just got a Triton 18 Explorer that we're going to try out for the first time. Should be a great time. I'll post back if we catch anything worth talking about.

Yes, the aftermarket crowd is hot in pursuit of whatever enhancements are available to improved performance for their Chryslers. Popular with the SRT8 set are performance exhaust systems and cold air intake systems. There are a several types of police agencies that hold vehicle and property auctions throughout the country. Included are, city or county police, sheriff, or state law enforcement, & federal law enforcement agencies such as the DEA, or FBI & Customs Service. All of these agencies have seized vehicles, computers, consumer electronics, furniture, land and just about anything you can think of. The best part is that by gaining access to these police auctions, you will have the ability to purchase new or near new items for pennies on the dollar.

The secret is finding where and when these auctions will take place. Do some research on the internet. There are many resources available that will provide local and national police auction directories that will be a great help in finding one in your local area. These auctions aren't a secret, but you have to do some undercover work to find the right ones.

Here's a few interesting facts about the 2009 Dodge Challenger

2009:
Base: 3.5L V6 with 4-speed auto, 3.64 rear axle, 17x7 inch wheels with 215/65/R17, or optional 18x7.5 inch wheels with 235/55/R18 rubber.

R/T: 5.7L Hemi (with new VVT) with 5-speed auto with 2.82 rear axle or 6-speed manual with 3.73 LS rear axle, 20x8 wheels with 245/45/R20 rubber.

SRT-8: 6.1L Hemi with 5-speed auto with 3.06 rear axle or 6-speed manual with 3.92 LS rear axle, 20x9 inch wheels with 245/45/R20 rubber.

Additional interesting information about the future Challenger lineup:

The always-reliable oh20 reported that the LC series Challenger would start production in April 2008 with the SRT8 and 6.1 liter engine. The 2009 Challenger, to be built starting in July 2008, will include a 3.5 liter SXT with the 3.5 liter engine and four-speed automatic, R/T with the second-generation 5.7 Hemi, and the SRT-8. The 2010, to start production in July 2009 - with convertibles starting in early 2009 - will be similar but with SXT and R/T convertibles, and possibly a new 6.4 liter High Output SRT8 option. Finally, the 2011 Challenger will include the 4.0 liter Phoenix engine instead of the 3.5 liter.

Available features and options on the 2008-09 Challengers will be very similar to the 2008 Charger lineup, with the addition of functional hood scoops, Keyless Go ignition and entry (2009MY), and the six-speed manual TREMEC transmission (2009MY). Six-speed SRT models will include a couple of surprise features that will have Challenger enthusiasts talking. Challenger wheel sizes should run from 17" to 20", with no spare tires on any models (and no run-flats), tire service kits will be included. Look for chrome fuel filler doors on the R/T and SRT models.

The Hemi engine is set for an upgrade, which may be why the non-SRT Challenger will take some time to show up. By 2009, Chrysler will have variable cam timing set up for its Hemi engines, neatly leapfrogging most variable-valve timing systems. The multiple displacement system is expected to remain for most, if not all, 5.7 Hemis. A 6.4 liter version is still expected, with 450-500 hp, though whether this is earmarked for the Challenger or not is still in question.

The official introduction / unveiling is set for February 6, 2008, 11 am, CST. Actual production is reportedly set for April 21, 2008. Availability should be around May-June 2008. We will be in Chicago for the reveal.

The Dodge Challenger will be produced as a coupe, to arrive in dealerships in 2008 (as a 2008 model year car), and to be built on the same line as the 300, Charger, and Magnum. Chrysler assures us that the production car will be practically indistinguishable from the concept. We have been told to expect a price of about $31,000.

In the end of the 1990's Cell phones started to become very common in schools. They became smaller and digital and cheaper to use. Text messaging turned out to be as popular as e-mail and was a way for kids to communicate without anyone listening in. However, as more students began to finagle phones from their parents, the phones began to cause a disruption in the classroom. It was easy for schools to ban use and possession of cell phones. There was no justification for students to have them.

September 11, 2001, the American view of safety changed and it seem the rules regarding cell phones in schools had to change as well. Many parents who previously agreed with schools decision to ban cell phones changed their stance-their kids were going to be able to contact them if another act of terrorism occurred. At this point school officials had a difficult decision to make-if cell phones were banned, and an emergency situation arose, who might be liable? The ban was relaxed. Cell phones were not exactly encouraged, but administration turned a blind eye to the possession of them.

This is where the controversy arises-should cell phones be banned completely or should students be allowed to use them? Where do educators draw the line? Here are some of the issues that cell phone use by students has raised:

· Does the school have the right to take cell phones from students?

· When is cell phone use by students appropriate?

· Do cell phones encourage drug dealing and gang-related activity?

· How much of class time needs to be wasted when a student's cell phone is stolen?

· Should camera phones be allowed?

· Have there been emergencies in which a student's cell phone has been the savior?

In this great age of technology, there is no doubt that the cell phone is a great convenience, but it has become a disruption to the educational environment. From a personal standpoint, when I graduated from High School, only the rich kids were starting to get cell phones, and they were the big Motorola Brick phones at that. I can't imagine a world where every student has a cell phone in the class room, and I also can't image the problems they cause for teachers. I picture a desk drawer full of confiscated cell phones, and complaining parents. However, at the same time, I do believe it is important for kids to be able to contact their parents quickly and efficiently, and vice versa. How to become an Airsoft Sniper

There are several crucial elements in becoming a top Airsoft sniper. Having the proper equipment is one of the most important but also having skills in camouflage, escape and evasion and target acquisition are even more crucial to winning skirmishes as an airsoft sniper. We will touch on some of the basics in the following article to help newbie airsoft gamers get a primer into the world of sniping.

As equipment goes, your first step will be to get a good rifle. A good Airsoft sniper rifle should have a muzzle velocity of at least 400fps. Any less than this and you won't have the firepower to make the long range kills, and your job as a sniper will be rendered useless in battle. There are lots of styles of sniper rifles but a spring rifle be the best choice, hopefully a bolt action as they will be the most consistent. An electric gun will tend to wear down the gearbox faster with a higher fps spring and are generally less accurate, a gas gun is fine, but you have to take into account cool-down effect and the effect of the temperature on the rate of expansion on the gas, that may therefore affect the fps, range and accuracy.

The next piece of equipment that is essential to becoming a proficient sniper is a high quality scope. Bushnell makes very good scopes. A 3-9x40 is a classic choice. Bipods are extremely helpful in assisting with accuracy in case you don't have a good location to brace your weapon with a pack or something similar. If you're already into the world of airsoft games you will most likely have a good set of camouflage fatigues, but as a sniper, you will need to get a ghillie suit. A ghillie suit allows you to place natural foliage, grass, branches, etc into the suit so you can blend into your surroundings. They can be purchased from they resources listed at the bottom of this article.

Other gear that you will need include a second sidearm, preferably a good quality airsoft pistol. Having a handgun will allow you to survive if ever you are spotted and cannot use your sniper rifle as protection. Binoculars, radio system, body armour, high quality ammunition are some of the other essentials to your sniper kit. Learn how to use it all so you won't be at a disadvantage when you're in battle.

If you're going to be on long creeps, for hours at a time, include food and water in your pack, but don't leave any evidence such as wrappers or bottles on the field. Nothing will give you away easier than your old trash that you forgot to pack. You must learn the art of stealth. Move slow be sure to watch the enemy. This is the most important step! You must take the time to study your environment. Instead of seeing things as trees or bushes, think of them as a good hiding place or a fallback point. Become comfortable in all situations and weather conditions. You must know how to snipe in woods and open fields, hills and trees. Also, become familiar with changing you ghillie suit to adapt to terrain.

While airsofting, stay low and move slow is the sniper motto. Set up an ambush or pick off advancing enemies. The best position for a sniper is prone which keeps you hidden the most, however crouching is an alternative in very dense areas. Standing up is when you are a more obvious target. Don't reveal your whole silhouette, profiles are harder to see. Always have an escape route planned ahead of time, so you can get away if by chance you are spotted.
This should give you a good start on becoming a top airsoft sniper. The best thing you can do is practice these skills when you're not in a real battle, so you're ready for the next real skirmish you're invited to join. With a little practice, you'll be making kills from long ranges, and have the opposition wondering how they just got shot.

Ok, so you want to get into Airsoft games, but you don't know anything about the sport. Here's the scoop on Airsoft games, Airsoft Guns and Airsoft Sniper Rifles.

What is Airsoft?

Airsoft is a combat sport similar to Paintball in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with (6 or sometimes 8 mm) plastic ball bearings (BB's - although BB stands for 'bullet ball' in reference to Airsoft), launched from airsoft guns, that can be powered by CO2, Green Gas, spring, or electrically powered gearboxes. Participants typically use varying types of weapons designed as replicas of real firearms, tactical gear, and accessories used by military and police organizations. In North America and Europe, there is a growing interest in airsoft.

Airsoft Guns

Airsoft guns are classified according to their operating principle which can be either: spring–, electric– or gas-powered. An airsoft gun is selected according to the level of performance (battery life, range, magazine capacity) or realism the player requires. Airsoft guns have three broad classifications depending on their use in the game which in turn determines the pellets speed and energy generated. Besides the normal ranges or class, there are weapons designed for longer ranges, typically sniper rifles and shorter ranges (also called CQB|Close Quarter Battle and usually of 200 feet or less). CQB situations include close range confrontations such as "house entry" where maneuverability is more important than range or power. The airsoft guns used in these scenarios typically fire less than 360 Feet per second|fps to ensure safe operation. Some high-powered and well-upgraded airsoft sniper rifles can fire 6mm pellets at velocities of about 600 fps. Most airsoft guns typically fire 200-450 fps, since they are used outdoors for most operations, balancing good speed and range with energy generated.

Grenades & Grenade Launchers

Players can use grenades, grenade launchers,smoke grenades, mines, and M18A1 Claymore Antipersonnel Mine|claymores that utilize explosives (pyrotechnics). Most of these "pyro" devices are powered by a gas. The hand grenades have many faults and therefore not as popular or common as grenade launchers like the M203 grenade launcher|M203 which launches a large number of pellets or foam slug rounds using green gas. And while most players, if they do at all use grenade launchers, will simply use an underbarrel launcher such as the M203, some players purchase heavier support weapons such as replicas of the Heckler & Koch 69 40mm grenade launcher, or a CAW revolving launcher, which can hold up to 6 40mm gas powered pellet grenades, (the pellet capacity of each grenade varies by its producer, and specified use, though grenades by MadBull Airsoft have been known to be able to fire over 200 pellets in a single shot), and shoot them in a semi-automatic mode. By using the Caw launcher, support gunners can get off up to 1224 rounds of 6mm ammunition in about 3 seconds. Mines are not popular in some cases either, because most only produce a mushroom cloud when activated without actually firing pellets, but an equally large amount of mines do fire 6mm pellets in large masses, similar to an M203 launcher. The airsoft M18A1 Claymore Antipersonnel Mine|claymore mine are more expensive in some cases, but popular due to their effectiveness. Anti-tank weapons exist such as the M-72, but they are not common or popular due to their weight and greater expense. These are rarely used in casual play but can be implemented when playing on an official airsoft field.

Airsoft BB's & Projectiles

Most airsoft guns fire spherical plastic pellets ranging from 0.12 to 0.88 gramsin weight, though the most popular weights are between .20 and .25 grams. Heavier rounds are typically used for sniping, as they are more stable in flight and thus, more accurate at long range. While BB's may be heavier, it is not necessary to have the gun upgraded to a very high FPS level. The best way to increase the accuracy of a rifle is to adjust the hop-up to the point of where the bb flies as straight and as far as possible without curving upwards. Pellets are typically 6mm in diameter, though 8mm varieties exist for specialty weapons. Pellet quality is important, as malformed pellets could easily damage the barrel of the airsoft weapon and/or the hop up system.

Paintball pellets are also available for airsoft guns, but are unpopular due to the incompatibility with hop up systems, as well as the potential damage they could cause if a pellet were to burst inside the gun. While airsoft pellets are often called BBs, the BB gunis so named because it originally fired BB-sized shotgunshot or metric ball bearings of .177 caliber (steel BBs are actually between .172 and .173 inches (4.5 mm) in diameter). The price of low grade pellets range from $3.50, for a container of about 5000, to around $10 USD, for a large tub of about 10,000. Higher grade pellets can cost as much as $10 USD for 2000 BBs. Most middle to high grade pellets come slightly lubricated with a silicone spray.

How to brew beer in an old shoe!

So you're tired of paying for beer...aren't we all. Here's a great way to have lots of beer at a fraction of the cost of buying beer at the store, by brewing beer in an old shoe. That's right, you can brew all the beer you want in a dirty, old shoe hanging around your garage. After you find the nastiest, oldest shoe around, get yourself some barley and some water. Mix it all up in the shoe and let it sit for about 48 hours. By then you will have a good base to start with and now you can add in the hops. I prefer to use Bavarian hops, and I like a more bitter beer, like an IPA, but you can fine tune the hoppieness to your taste. After you add the hopps, let the brew sit in the shoe for about 24 hours. Be sure to keep the shoe and all of the ingredients sterile as possible...otherwise you will contaminate your beer and it will taste like....well probably an old shoe.

After you let the hops ferment for a day, you'll need to heat pasteurize the beer. Put the shoe and the beer mixture in the microwave for about 2 minutes on the highest setting. After it comes out of the micro, immediately place it in the refrigerator for approximately 2 hours. This is sufficient time to cool it down properly. Once the brew is chilled, sit back and enjoy. Homebrewing Beer - Alternative to Kegging

If you don't have enough room or cash for a keg system but are tired of all the washing, sterilizing and time required to bottle your beer you can choose a product that is "in-between" bottling and kegging. A simple and affordable introduction to kegging is called the TAP-A-DRAFT® system made by Sturman BG, LLC. The system is comprised of a screw-on plastic tap and three 1.5 gallon blue plastic bottles (the same type of plastic bottle that soda comes in) and 8-gram CO2 cartridges. The CO2 cartridges are standard 8-gram food grade disposable CO2 cartridges used to regulate the pressure inside the 1.5 gallon bottle and keeps the beer carbonated.

Be sure not to confuse these 8-gram cartridges for the popular 12-gram cartridges found at sporting good stores for BB/air guns. As the beverage is dispensed, the cartridges replace the vacant space in the bottle with CO2. This regulated pressure allows the bottle contents to flow from the tap. A nice head can be formed by easing back slightly on the tap. It also can use Nitrogen cartridges (like Guinness™) for your stouts.

Multiple bottles can be purchased so you can have a number of different brews on-hand. I currently have eight bottles in various stages of fermentation or storage. Besides cost and convenience, I can easily switch between my beers 1.5 gallons at a time. The bottles can be inexpensively replaced as they wear out after about 6-8 uses. They take up a small space of about 17" long by 7" wide and fits nicely on it's side on a refrigerator shelf. Having the beer on tap sitting right there on a shelf in the fridge makes it very easy to have a beer, which could be construed as both a negative and a positive. The good thing, there won't be a bunch of bottles sitting on the counter for anyone (read: wife) to count at the end of the night.

The TAP-A-DRAFT® allows allow you to force carbonate your beer or can be bottle conditioned with priming sugar in the TAP-A-DRAFT bottle with the screw cap, to be tapped later when needed. Forced carbonation takes 5- 7 days with 2 CO2 cartridges in the refrigerator. When the beverage is ready to drink it can be tapped and dispensed from a refrigerator over a period of up to 3 weeks without going flat or spoiling since no air touches the beverage while it is dispensed. But what home brewer takes three weeks to finish a gallon and a half of beer?

The makers of TAP-A-DRAFT® offer a one year warranty on parts and labor. I had an issue with mine which the online store I purchased it from wouldn't take care of it but the folks at Sturman BG sure did and had me back to enjoying draft beer right out of my refrigerator. From a customer service standpoint my experience with Sturman BG was almost as refreshing as the beer I'm enjoying right now as I type. So if you’re an avid home brewer or just starting out I recommend purchasing the TAP-A-DRAFT® system as a great alternative to kegging your beer. It is a neat and clean system that can be taken to parties (in a cooler or you can buy a travel sleeve) I continue to have excellent results with mine and at about $60 for everything needed and some extra bottles it is well worth it.
